Gladdys J. Uribe is the Principal and lead attorney with the Law Office of Gladdys J. Uribe, P.C., an immigration law practice with offices in Culver City and Buellton, CA. She grew up witnessing injustices committed against the immigrant community, which inspired her dedication to using the law as a tool for social justice.
Gladdys holds a Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law, with concentrations in Critical Race Studies and Public Interest Law & Policy Programs, and a B.A. in Sociology from Occidental College. During her time at Occidental and UCLA, Gladdys served as Co-Chair for MEChA and the UCLA La Raza Law Student Association, as a board member for the UCLA Chicano-Latino Law Review, and interned with the Learning Rights Project and Catholic Legal Immigration Network advocating for children with learning disabilities and conducting “know your rights” presentations for immigrants in detention. Prior to law school, Gladdys worked for People Helping People, a local non-profit in the Santa Ynez Valley, during the day and taught ESL to adults in the evening.
Gladdys served on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for the Dunn School and is a former Trustee. She previously served on the boards of the UCLA School of Law Marco Firebaugh Dream Fund, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the Latina Lawyers Bar Association. She has been featured as a legal commentator on MundoFOX 22 and Univision.
Gladdys is the proud daughter of immigrant parents from Jalisco and Baja California, Mexico, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their two daughters.

Ismael Bautista, Jr. is Of Counsel with the Law Office of Gladdys J. Uribe, P.C., where he advises small and mid-size clients on discrete matters, such as corporate, commercial, entertainment, intellectual property, and real estate matters. He also assists the firm’s clients in connection with their estate planning needs involving simple estates. He earned a Bachelor of Arts as a dual major in economics and philosophy from the University of Southern California (USC). He received a Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law, where he served as a managing editor for the Chicano-Latino Law Review.
Between 2007 and 2020, Ismael worked for major law firms, advising domestic and international clients in several areas, including business transactions and disputes, complex litigation, entertainment, intellectual property, and trusts and estates. Ismael has had some high-profile matters, including Garza v. Universal Music Group, et al. (USDC CD Cal. 2:09-cv-06866) involving the late Mexican American singer Jenni Rivera, whom he successfully sued for copyright infringement of two of his clients’ songs. He tried more than 15 cases, including six as lead counsel. Ismael also volunteers his services to indigent clients as pro bono counsel in adoption, landlord-tenant, and probate matters. He has been featured as a legal commentator on Azteca America and Univision.
A past Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s International Law Section, Ismael has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the Mexican American Bar Association. He has also served on various committees and boards, including as Chair of the USC Latino Alumni Association’s Board of Directors and the UCLA School of Law Marco Firebaugh Dream Fund, and as member of the USC Board of Governors, USC Associates’ Board of Directors, and Inner City Law Center’s Board of Directors. In 2004, he created the Bautista Scholarship at his alma mater, Hawthorne High School, for deserving graduating seniors.
Ismael is the proud son of Mexican immigrants from Jalisco, Mexico. Having attended six years of grade school in Mexico, Ismael is fluent in Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing competitive soccer, running, tequila and mezcal tasting, and spending time with his two daughters.
